Our Friends group works to improve the park through projects, events sponsorship, volunteer work, and buying things that the park would not otherwise be able to afford. In the past few years it’s held the annual “Get to Know Colt Creek” event, purchased and built the gazebo on Mac Lake, sponsored horse events, maintained the butterfly garden, provided a washer, dryer, and ice machine for the Family Campground, and more.

WHAT TO MEMBERS RECEIVE?

First of all, we hope you’ll feel the satisfaction of contributing to your beautiful park! The more “ownership” there is, the more the group can do to improve the park. We’re working on adding members-only events, and hopefully soon we’ll have extra perks.

You’ll also receive a membership card entitling you to one free park entry per month. Plans are afoot to add special members-only events in the coming years.
